What is your name and what condition-specific team do you work on?

My name is Alison Frazier CpHT and I am the Oncology Team Lead/Senior Health Advisor here at Pack Health.

Why do you work at Pack Health? What’s your favorite part of your job? Where do you get your inspiration?

I found this GEM called “Pack Heath” when searching for experience in my educational career path. I am so thankful to be a part of a startup company and watching it grow. My inspiration comes from the empowered individuals that make up the PACK TEAM. It’s amazing how smoothly each department collaborates on improving our services to our members.

What’s your favorite healthy food and why? Share a recipe with us!

I love mixed berries and fruits! They are beneficial for weight loss and have tons of Probiotics, Omega-3’s, Antioxidants, Vitamin C, Protein, and Calcium. Here is a quick and easy breakfast recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of Non-Fat Greek Yogurt
  • 6 Walnut Halves
  • 1/2 cup of berries of your choice (fresh or frozen) – My favorites are blackberries and blueberries.
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • Optional: 1 tsp of Natural Peanut Butter

Directions:

  1. Chop the walnuts.
  2. In a bowl, mix yogurt with honey.
  3. Top with berries, walnuts, and Natural Peanut Butter!

What’s your favorite way to stay active and why?

Walking my Yorkie pup Brownie! She keeps me going on a daily basis!

How else do you practice self-care?

I get massages 2-3 times a month by a Massage Therapist. I decided to keep this routine going, due to the fact that I work both a full and a part-time job. Also, being a primary caregiver to my parents, it has helped relieve stress, increase relaxation, and really aid in my general health and wellness. I am interested in some alternative forms of practicing self-care like acupuncture and hypnosis. I have heard great success stories from my members so I’m very eager to try!
