Last week we announced a new partnership with eMeals to offer personalized meal plans for Pack Health members. As a dietitian, I am so excited by all the benefits of this platform. Not only does eMeals offer tasty recipes and a high design consumer experience, but they’ve also built meal plans that address our members’ health needs. Today, in honor of #DiabetesAwarenessMonth, I’d like to share a few benefits of this new meal planning tool for employees with Type 2 Diabetes.
- eMeals is a Time-Saving Tool.
With e-Meals, members don’t need to spend time looking for meal ideas or evaluating recipes’ nutritional value. They can trust their meal planning tool to do the work for them. Additionally, members can use e-Meals partners to get groceries delivered directly to their door.
The Platform Creates Meal Plans Tailored to Specific Health Needs.
eMeals actually has plans designed specifically for heart health and diabetes control! eMeals’ meal plans are built by dietitians, so they make it easy for members to monitor their carbohydrate intake and meet the American Diabetes Association’s dietary guidelines.
Users Have Access to Nutrient Numbers.
eMeals publishes nutrition information for every recipe. This makes it easier for members to track their nutrient intake and stay on top of their goals. This is key to support health self-efficacy. It also gives members who may have multiple chronic conditions or a picky eater in the family the flexibility to the perfect plan for their needs.
We’re so excited to offer this service to eligible Pack Health members. Click here to learn more about the partnership, or shoot me an email at Marybeth@packhealth.com to talk specifics for your employees!
