The Impact of Member Engagement Methods on Health Outcomes by Race and Ethnicity
This case study’s main focus was to examine member engagement methods and their impact on health outcomes based on race and ethnicity.
Researchers looked for similarities and differences in how members engaged (phone calls, emails, text messages, etc.) with Pack Health programming. Then they examined members’ post-program health outcomes. All methods were a form of digital patient engagement.
Patient-reported outcomes, such as health self-efficacy and improvements in mental health, were also reviewed to see if the level of engagement influenced changes in health outcomes.
